From Peri-Peri chicken wings to the Fino wrap – the Nando’s menu has enough popular options to suit people’s cravings.

But it turns out staff at the chain have access to a much wider option of meals that aren’t available to staff.

One staff member, who goes by the name of @numberonetiktokfaninnit on TikTok, revealed one of the items on the secret menu.

In a video which has been seen more nearly 500,00 times, the unnamed person showed off their favourite staff snack

They start by drizzling sauce on a wrap before adding a dollop of chilli jam.

They scrape sweetcorn off a cob before adding it to the wrap along with a portion of spiced rice.

Next the worker shows off a very saucy chicken breast that is added to the dish before it is finally wrapped up, brushed with more sauce and toasted.

Some viewers said the dish should be added to the official menu.

One person replied: “Looks belta need that on the menu.”

Another raved: “Wish you could just order this. Introduce it to the CEO.”

But one fellow staff member grouched: “This would be a nightmare to make if it was a menu item.

“Be on back grill with a full screen during rush and someone ordering this. I’m out.”

And a critic replied: “Got that much sauce on it it would be like eating soup.”

Another blasted: “Keep it a secret,” with a vomit emoji attached.

Lots of people were intrigued to see that the staff member wasn’t wearing gloves.

But they explained: “We wash our hands every 20 minutes, sanitise workstations regularly.

“After this video was filmed I sanitised everything I touched.

“Can ensure that everything is Covid safe to the max and you have nothing to worry about while eating at Nando’s.”

Meanwhile, a mum on TikTok was shamed after sharing a meal she gives her children when she “can’t be bothered.”

Australian mum @thelebaneseplate showed off a board filled with chicken dippers, mozzarella fingers, french fries and potato wedges.

But she divided parents with some saying the meal was fine while others criticised the meal, with one critic described it as an “awful choice.”
